out. Let me start out with a little background on the site.
CruzDate is designed to help UCSC students out with their dating life. The
campus is big and it is sometimes hard to meet everyone you may want to, so
this site was set up to give you a hand.
There's a group going around campus calling themselves "SlugDate" that got pretty upset that this site is running, but we feel that not everyone likes blind dates. This way, people can comfortably find love without having to worry about the fear of going out with a complete stranger.
Here on CruzDate.com, membership is FREE and your profile will be added to the network, but with only a free membership, you cannot perform searches or view more than 3 other people's profiles... basically "they can see you but you can't see them." To get the full experience, I recomend paying the simple low one time fee and getting full access to the site and all its glory. The fee we get is used to help pay for the site development and hosting costs. We also use it to help us advertise (check out our new FaceBook ads!!!) so don't feel like we are taking your money and shoving it in our pockets.
